SEANAIR

When we pulled apart the interior we came across the air intake hoses. Half of them had fallen off and weren't doing anything.

We installed new hose. and we put a fan on the port side sucking in, and a fan on the starboard side blowing out.

When we re-powered there was some concern that we were over the engine room temp allowance so this was done to address that. However, I dont think that was ever really an issue.

I do run the fans most of the time and found they work well as a "poor man's Air Sep" - they blow the crank case oil fumes out of the engine room and keep things pretty clean. You can see in this picture the oil that has collected in the "out" fan after a full season.
